There is a rare VCD in the market. Rare it is because it has some of the doyens of the yesteryears in action: Sheni Gopala Krishna Bhat, Tekkatte Anand Master, Patala Venkataramana Bhat and Peruvodi Narayana Bhat. Prasanga: Bedara Kannappa.There are many audio CDs of Sheni but this seems to be the only available video CD featuring him. Sheni plays Kailasa Shastry, one of his famous characters.
Originally shot in VHS format from a stage performance, it has been produced by Cassette Corner, Udupi. The performance seems to be at least 20 years old - bhagavata Padyana Ganapathi Bhat appears very young. The images are a bit blurred but audio is good and definitely an asset to your collection.
