Orkut is being used by several enthusiasts to foster a community of yakshagana lovers. There are fans associations of several artistes and melas. The most interesting work on the net on yakshagana has been done by Subramanya Bhat, Lakshmi Narayana Bhat and their friends. Their google site is invaluable for what it contains - photos, audio and video clips. The most priceless of their collection is a video clip of Sheni Gopala Krishna Bhat playing his legendary performance as Bappa Byari in Bappa Nadu Kshetra Mahatme. Yakshagana lovers will have to be eternally grateful to Subramanya Bhat and his friends for their work....
