Recently my friend Satish Salian from Udayavani, Manipal told me about a promising young bhagavatha - Patla Satish Shetty. Searching the web I found a clipping of his performance 'Yaksharaja kumari saugandhike' .... a brilliant voice and style indeed....I instantly fell for his bhagavathike

Seems to have lost it a bit. In a recent audio CD of his songs, it was not the original Patla. Was bit sad that he was going the Ammannaya way by making it all sound like either film or folk songs...
Some of the songs in a recent CD (Gana Madurya) in which he sang with Praful and Satish Bondel are really do not sound like Yakshagana songs. For example: Taruniyallaval aadi maaye etc. Will someone kindly tell him
